Nell: Educator

What I know to be true is that I am a heart-centered leader and learner. I have two superpowers: "getting" teenagers and hugs. Support for my superpowers comes from my family, the outdoors, writing, and witnessing growth and kindness.

My professional life has shifted to school administration. I have been in the classroom for almost 20 years and now I am "operations". It is a shift in perspective with lots of learning in a time of great change. It's thrilling and tiring. I am doing a lot of reading and researching. This blog is helping me to process the unfolding world around me.

It is my hope to build a library for our students, teachers, school leaders, parents, and community members. I will do the reading and share my thinking about ideas in education. 

​

Looking forward, I would love to meet up with people and talk about these ideas. But that is phase 2.  I am not quite ready for that. I am excited for that day.
